Weave Your Own Story: Armenian Rug Art In Yerevan

Explore the history of Armenian rug weaving. At this workshop, you will learn about Armenian rug weaving (19th–20th), followed by a hands-on experience. During this workshop, you will receive hands-on instruction in traditional knot-making on a large loom. As part of the immersive weaving process, you will make knots yourself at a real traditional loom, under professional guidance.

note: this is a collaborative weaving experience! You will contribute your own knots to a shared masterpiece on a large loom. Please keep in mind that individual rugs are not provided to take away after this session.
